On Black Politicians Failing Obama’s Legacy And The Rise Of The “Four-Fifths Compromise”
The terms of the “deal with the devil” that created the Age of Obama have been revealed.
The only logical conclusion I have drawn in the wake of the recent gubernatorial election struggles of Democratic Tallahassee, Florida mayor Andrew Gillum and former Democratic Minority Leader of the Georgia House of Representatives Stacey Abrams is a terrifying one. While stunned in the wake of these defeats, my only well-reasoned proposition is that America’s sociopolitical energies swirled near hell just long enough to make a deal with the devil to get Barack Obama twice elected as our American president. The fate of watching the devil cashing in on making this deal in 2008 has set into my psyche and torn me emotionally asunder. The conditions of the devil’s deal with America appear to be the rise of a “four-fifths compromise,” a ruinous retro-fitted return to a black slavery-induced Continental Congress decision. Though this awful reality occupies our daily existence, it is with dedicated work and sustainable solutions, that we, as African-Americans, can persevere.
